The Women’s Table 2018 10th Anniversary Celebration

For the past ten years, The Women’s Table, a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, has celebrated individuals for their commitment to the values and charism of the sisters. This year, State Representative Kevin Honan received the “Connecting Neighbor with Neighbor Award.” Kevin listens wholeheartedly to those who seek his help, and he utilizes his connections to help others. Mary Caruso, a facilitator and volunteer for The Women’s Table Writer’s Workshop received the “Compassionate Strength Award,” for creating an atmosphere where women feel comfortable sharing. Sharon Gouvia, was honored with the “Building Inclusive Community Award.” Sharon was a “founding member” of The Women’s Table Advisory Committee, and she brought a wide range of experience to the ministry.
